Why IgE testing matters

IgE antibodies helps pinpoint your specific allergy triggers with precision. This critical insight allows your allergist to craft a targeted treatment plan, ensuring the most effective relief.

How to use your allergy test kit

  • 1. Open your test kit and carefully read the included instructions.

    2. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water to ensure a clean sample.

    3. Lay out the materials, including the lancet, sample collection card, alcohol swab, and prepaid return envelope.

    test
    1. Clean Your Finger: Use the alcohol swab provided to sanitise the fingertip you will use for the blood sample.

    2. Use the Lancet: Remove the cap from the lancet, press it firmly against your fingertip, and release the trigger to create a small prick.

    3. Collect the Blood Spots: Allow drops of blood to naturally form and gently apply them to the circles on the collection card. Ensure each circle is completely filled. Avoid smearing.

    4. Let It Dry: Place the card on a clean, flat surface and allow it to air dry completely for the specified time (usually 2-4 hours).
